Counseling in Denver, NC
So, you are here, which means you are looking for a therapist or counselor that can actually help you. You have been struggling with your symptoms for so long that you donāt want to risk picking someone that is not going to understand you, much less help you find the relief youāve wanted. Whether you are looking for mental peace, motivation to resume being you, relief from the negative thoughts and images in your mind, the feeling of being present in your life, healing or growth in your relationships, or success in your weight loss journey, I can help you.
My name is Juliya Whitley, and I became a therapist because my passion is helping people who have been through hard situations and want to make their lives better. My approach to counseling is what I call āskill-based.ā I want to teach people the skills they need in order to handle situations on their own so that they never have to return to counseling for similar issues in the future. I love seeing people not just heal, but thrive as they move forward in life and make changes that reflect their happier and healthier mental headspace. I delight in seeing how these changes positively impact their families, friends, and communities. So, if you truly want to make a change in your life, are ready to learn the skills, and put the skills into practice, I am ready and excited to help you!
